Thirty-five years ago in Auckland, New Zealand, David Rosell
purchased a 1956 Morris Minor for $200 from a German tourist racing to catch a flight home. He named the little car “Morrie” and spent three months exploring New Zealand, feeling as free as an uncaged parrot! Along the way, Morrie delivered adventures, lifelong friendships and memories.
David never imagined another 1956 Morris Minor would find him
again. One day, ten years later in Bend, Oregon, he couldn’t believe his eyes!! A Morris Minor! The distinctive front grille was unmistakable, and it was a convertible! He left a note on the windshield, and a year later the car was his. Named “Peaches” by the previous owner, the name stuck.
For decades, Peaches has been far more than a car. She became the face of David’s financial practice, carried both Sophie and Jack home in their baby seats, and brought a steady stream of serendipity, smiles, and good fortune into his life.
Now, as Peaches turns 70 it’s the perfect excuse to celebrate this
remarkable journey – and the joy of sharing life with friends.
