Joe “Pina” Plass and TJ “Colada” Brodeur first met on a sun-soaked tropical island, where the palm trees swayed to the rhythm of the ocean waves and the air was filled with the scent of exotic flowers. As young adventurers, they spent their days sipping tropical drinks and their nights serenading the native islanders with the smooth sounds of yacht rock, R & B and the catchy beats of pop rock from the 70s and 80s.
Their impromptu beachside concerts quickly became the highlight of island life. The islanders couldn’t get enough of Joe’s solid bass lines and TJ’s dazzling guitar solos. The duo’s harmonies were as perfect as a sunset over the ocean, and their performances were nothing short of legendary. Inspired by the joy and laughter they brought to their island friends, Joe and TJ had a brilliant idea: why not take their music to the mainland and share it with the world?
And so, Pina Colada was born! With a suitcase full of tropical vibes and a heart full of dreams, they set sail for new horizons. Today, they bring the same infectious energy and feel-good tunes to weddings, corporate events, private parties, wine bars, and clubs.
