The Silvertone Devils play roots rock and roll with a love of good old country music, especially Waylon. The band is able to craft sweet little handmade artisan beauties as well as smash the box wide open with gut bucket funk, blazing rock, and jam dance music. Bill Powers has a trove of originals and the band is known to cover Dylan, Willie, Waylon, JJ Cale, and even the Dead. They sound like anything from traditional swinging country 2 step, to Louisiana rhythms, rock n roll, psychedelic, old time, folk, and country funk.
