The Cutmen

The Cutmen are an eight piece instrumental funk and soul jazz band with a horn section. The band has been performing in the Oregon area for the last ten years playing house shows, festivals and weddings. The Cutmen has shared the stage with the Polyrhythmics, the Wailers, Karl Denson’s tiny universe, Diggin Dirt, and many performers, and also been featured on several album recordings. Their music covers the likes of Jimmy Smith, James Brown, Grandmaster Flash, Cream, and many other well-known artists while adding our own funky and soul jazz twist.
